Modern Machine & Tool, Inc. was established in 1998 in a garage with one lathe, mill and saw along with a few tools that I had bought over the 20 years that I have been in the trade. The business steadily grew. In July 1999, it moved into a bigger building in the small town of Van Buren. The first CNC mill was purchased along with the addition of new employees. The company kept growing and eventually was too much for the current building, so a building next door was purchased to do the fabricating work. Then in the fall of 2005, a building at the south edge of town, formerly the Van Buren conservation club, was purchased. The old brick building was not in very good shape so it was torn down to make way for the new building where the business is still operated.
Our company strives on quality of our product and responsive customer service. We specialize in specialty machine parts, custom machining and fabrication. We have the capabilities of a simple one off part or large quantities of complex castings. |
